Finally a LARGE lens electronic welding helmet! The lens has a 40% larger viewing area than any other auto-dark helmet on the market today. This variable shade version changes from a light shade 3 to a variable shade 9-12 dark state in 0.1 milliseconds. Offers UV/Infrared protection of shade 16 at all times. Solar powered so there are no batteries to change. The filter is a specialized TIG filter with an additional MIG/Stick mode and built-in sensitivity and delay. Four independent sensors, located in all four quadrants of the filter, provide maximum arc detection so the filter will stay dark as needed and minimize any chance of total sensor block. Power off mode allows you to use helmet in light state when grinding. For use with all arc welding applications such as electrode, Stick, TIG, MIG or cutting with amperages of 50-300 Amps.
