Welding aluminum with a MIG isn't known as being "easy". That's mostly because no one tells you how to set it up. Using a versatile alloy like the one we carry, 5356, makes the wire feed through the torch without bird nesting, while providing compatibility with most all weldable aluminums. Wire comes in .030 or .035, and we recommend using one size larger contact tip than the wire since aluminum expands a bit at the tip. |
